WHY DDMI?
WHAT IS IT?
The Digital Drum Major Institute (DDMI) is the premier online course for current and aspiring drum majors. The focus of DDMI is to develop students into refined conductors through a curriculum focused on beat patterns, stylistic gestures, dynamics, phrasing, character, and score study, as well as other leadership techniques to outfit the 21st century marching band.

WHO ATTENDS?
Both current and aspiring drum majors will benefit from this experience. The inaugural DDMI hosted over 200 students from 18 states. We focus on the "nuts & bolts" of conducting, however, students of all ability levels are welcome!

When is it?
Friday, April 30th:
6:00pm-8:00pm EST - Session #1
Saturday, May 1st:

How much does it cost?
$25 for six hours of instruction
When will I receive login information?
An email will be sent to the account you provided during registration approximately 24 hours before our event begins.
Can I just attend for one day?
We recommend attending both days to maximize your experience. The cost of the institute will remain $25.
I'm a band director, can I pay for multiple attendees?
Yes! Register each student individually via the Google registration form. At the end of the registration form, follow the link to DDMI's registration and payment page. Be sure to specify at checkout that you are paying for multiple students.
